The students of Downers Grove South are excited to continue the tradition of homecoming!
- On Friday, September 27, at 3:15 p.m., DGS will hold the Homecoming parade (the route is Springside, east on Bolson, and north on Dunham). Come out and enjoy the marching band, floats, candy and more!
- On Friday evening, September 27, the varsity football game will begin at 7:30 p.m. A fireworks display will be held during halftime of the game. The DGS Homecoming Court will be recognized after the end of the JV game and before the start of the Varsity game.
Tickets for the dance will go on sale through 5 Star, September 23 - 27 for 35 dollars.
The Cosmic Glow Party dance is on Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM inside our building in the field house and STEAM wing. No late entry after 8 PM.
Cash sales will be available at the door for $40 for DGS students only.
No approved guests will be allowed to purchase their tickets at the door. All approved guests must buy their tickets in advance through 5Star. Guest forms are due September 18th, 2024.
All students must bring their ID for check-in. The evening of the dance, students should check in at the west events with their Student ID.
