DGS Students Succeed in SkillsUSA Competition

On Friday, April 25, Downers Grove South High School students competed in the SkillsUSA Illinois State Championships. Students brought home seven top three finishes.

South High recognizes and celebrates the following students:

3D Design Visualization & Animation:

5th Place - George Demos
6th Place - Amelia Anderson & Gage Steinhaus 

Architectural Drafting:
2nd Place  - Alexander Burak
3rd Place  - Zachary Mucha

Engineering Technology Design:
2nd Place  - Donnie Okleme, Nathan Bennema, Zach Cotner & Alex Auernhamer 
5th Place - Jennifer Celeste, Audrey Curulewski, Kaitlin Brinkmaier 
6th Place - Lillian Higgins, Kate Plass

Prepared Speech:
