South High School in Downers Grove inducted 87 students into the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) on Wednesday, May 11, 2022.
The NTHS recognizes outstanding student achievement in career and technical education (CTE) and promotes excellence in workforce education. Fewer than two percent of secondary students are nominated into the organization. To qualify for NTHS membership, students must have three or more semesters of CTE courses, earn a “B” or better in those courses, and maintain an overall grade point average of 3.4 or higher. Students must also demonstrate exemplary personal conduct, exceptional character and good citizenship.
