South High School invites children and their families to DGS Drama's upcoming Childrens Play, "School House Rock Live!" Performances will take place on Friday, October 22 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, October 23 at 2 p.m.
Synopsis: Based on the popular television show, Schoolhouse Rock Live! is a fun and educational show that teaches students and audiences of all ages that learning is fun. In this show, a teacher is nervous about returning to in-person learning after the pandemic, tries to relax by watching TV. Suddenly, the Schoolhouse Rock kids appear in their living room and proceed to show them how to win their students over with imagination and music. The beloved Schoolhouse Rock songs include "A Noun Is a Person, Place, or Thing," "I’m Just a Bill," and "Unpack Your Adjectives."
