American Government Class Creates Mental Health Website

American Government Class Creates Mental Health Website

Mrs. Tracy Culcasi’s 8th period American Government class focused second semester on breaking the stigma of mental health. The students researched the issue and split up into three groups; the information gatherers, the website curators and the information managers. Collectively, they created a website as a hub of information for both South High students and staff.

“Mental health is an important issue that many teens aren’t open to talking about,” South High junior Max Bertrand said. “Breaking the stigma of mental health will help others speak about mental health issues and get the message out.”

“The class did an impressive job coming together to help create a mental health resource for other students,” Culcasi said. “They should be very proud of what they created.”
