South High School SkillsUSA students competed in the virtual Illinois SkillsUSA State Championships. Downers Grove South High School had eight medalists, including three state champions and national qualifiers, and six placers. Additional students from both schools placed within the top ten.
“We’re incredibly proud of our students for their commitment and their success at the State SkillsUSA Competition,” said Mark Molinari, South High School Career & Technical Education Teacher and SkillsUSA advisor. “Each of the SkillsUSA advisors have spent hours with these students outside of class time preparing them for these opportunities.”
