58 South High Students Inducted into World Language Honor Societies

On March 5, the South High World Languages Department inducted 58 students into the French, German and Spanish Honor Societies. The organizations recognize high scholastic attainment in the study of foreign language and generate interest in the study of language, literature, culture, and civilization. To be eligible for an honor society, students must be of highest integrity, have a cumulative grade point average of at least B (3.0) an, and a letter grade of A in the foreign language of a specified number of semesters.
