UPDATE FOR JAN. 28:
The 8th grade Orientation Night for the Class of 2023 will be held as scheduled. We had Wednesday set aside as an alternate date for tonight. Given the weather outlook for Wednesday, the events on the other nights that would need to be rescheduled, and knowing that we have to meet our incoming freshmen this week prior to their appointments with counselors on Saturday, tonight still provides the best option.
Presuming that the roads are cleared appropriately, we are allowing a minimum amount of activities to be held this afternoon at school. Athletic practices may be held for varsity, in-season teams only. Varsity speech practices, and rehearsal for the Black History Play can be held as well. All events must occur between the hours of 2 and 5 p.m. and attendance by students is completely optional. Students should follow the communication from their respective coaches to see if their team/activity is practicing.
