DGS students competed at the DECA state competition in Rosemont, Illinois on March 10-12. DECA is a club to prepare emerging leaders and entrepreneurs through competitive events and conferences.
The podium finishers at DGS include:
1ST place in Advertising Campaign: Laura Funk, Matthew Mahlan & Michael Roberge
1St place in Quick Serve Restaurant Management: Laura Funk
2nd place in Financial Services Team Decision: Akila Shanmugham and Swathi Pillalamarri
2nd place in Entrepreneurship Innovation Plan: Tiffany Leung
3rd place in Financial Consulting: Chandana Sooranahalli
