ACTIVITIES

Clay Club we have our meeting today after school 3:30-4:30, be ready to work and we will be taking our Yearbook Photo.

Just a reminder to all students that registration for the Fall Snowball overnight event is due by Monday!! The event is November 18-19. Sign up now and join the good times!”

Attention Junior SAALT Leaders, please report to the West Events Entrance at 7:00 AM on Friday, October 28th for the WSC Leadership Conference

Attention Adventure Club- we will meet this Thursday after school in Room D178 for yearbook photos

What’s a Skelton’s favorite instrument?  A Trom-BONE!  This bad joke may terrify you but the costumes will amaze you!!!  Peer leaders are hosting a costume contest on Monday, October 31.  Come to the cafeteria before school in costume and pay your $1 entry fee. Students will vote for their favorites during their lunch hour.  Votes are 25 cents or 5 for $1.  Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 vote getting costumes.  Costumes must follow Dean’s rules.  Hope to see you there!

October is Energy Awareness month.  Did you know that producing aluminum or steel uses a ton of energy and puts lots of carbon in the atmosphere?  Never throw a metal can in the garbage again - recycle it!

Seniors, last day to submit your baby photos to the yearbook is Monday October 31st! Digital copies of baby photos should be emailed to dgsyearbook@csd99.org. Last day to create Senior recognition ADs for the yearbook is also October 31st, ADs can be created at jostens.com/yearbookads. If you have any questions you can email dgsyearbook@csd99.org or stop by the student activities office for more information."

 

COLLEGE AND CAREER

On Thursday October 27th a representative from Arizona State University, Texas Christian University & Augustana College will be here.

On Monday October 31st  a representative from St. Ambrose University, Purdue University & DePaul University will be here.
