ACTIVITIES

DECA, the business and marketing club,  will have our next meeting on Thursday, November 17th   at 7:30 in room B327.  All members need to attend.  See you Thursday morning at 7:30 in B327.

Is there someone in your life who you are thankful for?  Send them a Gobble Gram!  Peer Leaders are selling Gobble Grams during lunch periods.  1 for 50 cents or 3 for $1.

All FCCLA members there will be a meeting this Thursday, after school, in B123.  The meeting has been moved from Tuesday.  We will be handing out Fundraising and taking our yearbook pictures so be there please! See you Thursday.”

Attention all students attending Snowball this weekend. A letter was sent to your home with important information about the event. If you did not receive your letter, see Ms. Benoist in A109 as soon as possible. Please arrive at the West events entrance at 6:30 a.m. on Friday to check in and board the bus for Snowball. Busses will depart promptly at 6:45 a.m.. See you there!

CHANGE club: CHANGE (creating hope amongst new generations everyday) will be meeting this week in Room D273 after school.  Bring a friend and an open mind!  See you there.  Mrs. Robinson

Calling all SuperFans! This Friday, we are having our next meeting to discuss our upcoming winter sports! From pack the places, to fundraisers, to possible themes, you don’t want to miss all of the information this meeting has to offer. The meeting will be Friday Morning at 7:30 in the theatre. Please e-mail Mr. Janacek or Mr. Wolf if you have any questions.

What is the Peer Jury Program?  It is designed to provide a meaningful and remedial method of dealing with selected juvenile offenders without referral to the Juvenile Court System.  Are you interested in becoming a Peer Juror?  If so, please stop in the Social Studies office (D272) and pick up an application. Completed applications are due January 11, 2017.

ATHLETICS

Boys track and field pre-season strength and conditioning has started.  Anyone interested in joining this year’s boys track and field team and is not in a winter sport needs to report to the fitness center tomorrow, Thursday, right after school.  No prior experience necessary.  See Coach Hausherr with any questions.”

COLLEGE AND CAREER

On Monday November 28th a representative from  Concordia University-Chicago, St. Louis College of Pharmacy & Eastern Illinois University will be here.

On Tuesday November 29th a representative from Dominican University, Knox College & United States Army National Guard will be here.
