ACTIVITIES
REMINDER TO ALL LUNCH PERIOD RESOURCE AND STUDY HALLS: Remember to head to the auditorium Friday during every lunch period for the Elective Forums by Fine Arts and World Languages. Thanks in advance for being to the auditorium near the start of each lunch resource/study hall Friday of this week.
DECA, the business and marketing club, will have our next meeting on Thursday, January 26 at 7:30 am in room B327. This is for all members to attend to review Sectional materials. See you Thursday morning at 7:30 in B327.
Attention French Club Come join us after school on Thursday January 26 in the Foods Room B120 at 3:30. We will be making crepes from scratch and filling them with any combination of Nutella, strawberries, bananas and whipped cream. We will be done in time to take the 4:30 activity bus. Come join the fun - all are welcome!
The Attendance Office is looking for student aides for 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 7th periods. If you are interested, please stop by the Attendance Office, Room A103 to pick up a request form.
Attention Seniors: If you applied via Common App your 7th semester transcript will be sent automatically. For Non-Common App colleges that require 7th semester transcripts please see Mrs. Lichaj in the College & Career Center Room A109.

Do you know what you are doing this summer?
DGS has summer programs listed in Naviance for freshman, sophomore, junior and senior students. A list of camps for that will enable you to gain a strong sense of personal and academic potential. There are various camps in: Art, Engineering, Government Leadership, Writing, Filmmaking, Veterinary Science, Computing, Weather & Climate Science, Culinary Arts & Food and Architecture just to name a few summer programs. Check your email for detailed information.
Attention Seniors: Now that college applications are complete, how about starting to look for Scholarships. Check your email for detailed information regarding each scholarship and where they are listed in Naviance.
ATHLETICS
Attention to ALL those interested in Baseball this spring – there will be OPEN GYM’s this week on Tuesday, January 24 from 8 to 9:45 PM and Thursday January 26 from 8 to 9:45 PM in the Field House. This is for all levels.
Attention to ALL those interested in Boys’ Volleyball, there will be a Boys Volleyball Open Gym Wednesday from 7:00 – 8:30 in the small gym.
Congratulations to the Mustang Wrestling program as the Varsity, JV and Freshmen teams completed a 6-0 sweep of conference with their wins over Willowbrook this past Thursday. This is the second consecutive year that each level has swept the West Suburban Gold. How Strong? South Strong!
