October is Energy Awareness Month.  Did you know that microwaves actually use about fifty percent less energy than conventional ovens do?  If you can handle your food soggy, then the more energy efficient cooking option is the microwave.

Why is a ghost such a messy eater?   Because he is always a goblin.  This bad joke may terrify you but the costumes will amaze you!!!  Peer leaders are hosting a costume contest on Monday, October 31.  Come to the cafeteria before school in costume and pay your $1 entry fee. Students will vote for their favorites during their lunch hour.  Votes are 25 cents or 5 for $1.  Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 vote getting costumes.  Costumes must follow Dean’s rules.  Hope to see you there!

Seniors, last day to submit your baby photos to the yearbook is Monday October 31st! Digital copies of baby photos should be emailed to dgsyearbook@csd99.org.
