ACTIVITIES

Congratulations to our Marching Mustangs who placed 2nd in class 6A at the Illini Marching Band Championship at the University of Illinois this past weekend.  Our Drum Majors were also recognized as the best of the top 4A, 5A, and 6A classes and received a scholarship award.  Overall, the band placed 5th out of a total of 41 bands that competed that day.  It was a great day to be a Mustang!

If you answered yes to these questions, find a partner and prepare an audition audio or video file for a chance to be assigned to a morning announcement slot. Come to Earth Action Club tomorrow after school in C260.

Hey South! Want to escape the stresses of the everyday? Make new friends? Have a great time? Registration for Snowball is now open! You can register on either the Snowball or Student Activities websites, but hurry - Registration ends October 31st!”

Do you like field trips? Are you interested in experiencing how government really works? For the first time ever DGS students have the opportunity to travel with North students to Washington DC. You will explore and experience our nation’s capital, discuss issues with students from all over the country, and meet members of Congress. For more information, see Dr. Esposito in the Social Studies office (D272). Initial sign-up forms are due on October 21st so don’t delay.
