ACTIVITIES

Just a reminder to all students that registration for the Fall Snowball overnight event is due by Monday!! The event is November 18-19. Sign up now and join the good times!”

What is a mummie’s favorite type of music?  Wrap, of course!  These bad jokes may terrify you but the costumes will amaze you!!!  Peer leaders are hosting a costume contest on Monday.  Come to the cafeteria before school in costume and pay your $1 entry fee. Students will vote for their favorites during their lunch hour.  Votes are 25 cents or 5 for $1.  Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 vote getting costumes.  Costumes must follow Dean’s rules.  Hope to see you there!

October is Energy Awareness Month.  Did you ever think about the energy embedded in the products you buy?  How about buying vintage?  Vintage clothing is, well, vintage, which means no new damage is done to the environment from manufacturing it. Plus, buying vintage is cheaper than buying new, and sometimes you can score really unique designer stuff from local consignment shops.  And, you can find great Halloween costumes at Goodwill!

Seniors, last day to submit your baby photos to the yearbook is Monday October 31st! Digital copies of baby photos should be emailed to dgsyearbook@csd99.org. Last day to create Senior recognition ADs for the yearbook is also October 31st, ADs can be created at jostens.com/yearbookads.
