Downers Grove Music Club College Music Award
The Downers Grove Music Club will present a $1,000 College Music Award to at least one student enrolled in Band, Choir or Orchestra in District 99 and is graduation during the 2024-2025 school year and attending college in the Fall of 2025. Award recipients will be selected based on the merit of their musical accomplishments, as described on the application form, and the quality of the musical performance provided on the video recording portion of the application. The goal of these awards is to recognize and reward those students who have worked very hard in their musical pursuits and have achieved a high level of accomplishment as a musician.
All entries must be submitted by the deadline date of March 15, 2025
Downers Grove Music Club Rising Star Music Award
This year, the Downers Grove Music Club will present multiple $500 Rising Stars Music Awards to students currently in their freshman, sophomore or junior year . Awards are given to students enrolled in the District 99 high schools in the areas of Band, Choir or Orchestra. Award recipients are selected based on the merit of their musical accomplishments, as described on the application form and the quality of the musical performance provided on the recording portion of the application. The goal of these awards is to recognize and reward those students who have worked very hard in their musical pursuits and have achieved a high level of accomplishment as a musician.
All entries must be submitted by the deadline date of March 15, 2025 to be eligible for review.
DuPage County Farm Bureau Foundation General Scholarship
Up to five scholarships will be awarded to high school seniors who will be pursuing a bachelor’s degree related to the agriculture industry. Agriculture involves a wide range of careers. Qualified programs may include, but are not limited to, horticulture, agronomy, engineering, veterinary, communications, environmental science, food science, biology, etc. Applicants must explain how their chosen career path will impact the agriculture industry.

Illinois School Counselor Association Post Secondary Scholarship
ISCA awards 9 ($1,000) scholarships to students throughout the State of Illinois. A student from each ISCA Region will receive the $1,000 Scholarship. Students graduating from high school are eligible for this non-renewable $1,000 Scholarship. The Scholarship can be used to support the following post-secondary options: 4-Year College/University, 2-Year College/University, Trade School, or Apprenticeship/Vocational Program.
The 2024 ISCA Scholarship application will open on December 13, 2024. The deadline to apply is January 17, 2025. All applications will be reviewed by the ISCA Scholarship Committee and winners will be announced in April 2025.
Mathew W. Heiden Public Safety Scholarship
This scholarship awards up to $2000 to a student will be attending an accredited curriculum at university, college, or trade school within six months of graduation. It also covers enrollment fees (100%) in any Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) Certification or Credential and registration costs (100%) for any American Public Works Association (APWA), American Water Works Association, or OSHA conferences or training. Financial need is not a criterion.
Meadowview Elementary Alumni Scholarship
The Meadowview PTO Scholarship is offering two (2) $1,000 scholarships awarded to graduating seniors who attended Meadowview Elementary School for at least one year.
The Nora Moran Marovich Award, aka "the Nonnies," provides financial support to high school juniors and seniors as they pursue post-secondary education. WSI created them as a way to celebrate and honor high school students who have demonstrated a commitment to community service and have an Irish heritage or connection to the Irish community.
Nonnie was a founding member and was an instrumental voice in shaping the organization. She was known for being compassionate, caring and always willing to help. WSI hopes to honor Nonnie's legacy of supporting others and dedication to service with this award.
O'Neill PTA Scholarships
The O'Neill PTA is offering one-time $500 scholarship awarded to two (2) graduating high school seniors who attended O'Neill Middle School in good standing.
Rotary Club of Downers Grove High School Service Scholarship
Rotary Club of Downers Grove will award scholarships ranging from $2,000-$5,000. Application Deadline Friday, February 21, 6:00 p.m. CT.
The Whittier Elementary PTA Scholarship is a one-time, $1,000 scholarship awarded to two (2), graduating seniors from Illinois High Schools who attended Whittier Elementary School for at least four years.
