Care Team
The Care Team, an early intervention program comprised of staff members from various departments, is designed to support students with issues related to social, emotional, and academic success.
The specially trained Care Team will support teachers, staff, counselors, deans, and students by:
- Gathering student information
- Developing an action plan
- Implementing FIRST-LINE intervention strategies which may include mentoring
Candidates are those students who are experiencing difficulties or have undergone noticeable changes in one or more of the following areas:
- Academics
- Attendance
- Behavior
- Health
Typically, these will be students who might otherwise slip through the cracks. **Students receiving other support services may not qualify for this type of intervention.
