For more than 25 years, Chamber630’s Attainable Futures program has prepared District 99 students with career exploration opportunities to enhance the skills they need to enter the workforce.
Whether you're exploring the trades, deciding on a major, or preparing to join the workforce, Attainable Futures is here to guide you. Registered students will hear from local business professionals as they share various workforce readiness tips, their career journeys, and what inspires them in their chosen field.
Workforce Readiness topics will include:
- Career exploration and goal setting
- Job applications and search methods
- Interview strategy and resume-building
- Social Media Ethics
- Community citizenship and engagement
- And much more!
There will be three in-person sessions held during Spring 2025:
- Session 1: February 4, College of DuPage, 9 am - 12:15 pm
- Session 2: March 4, Diveheart Outreach Center, 9 am - 12:15 pm
- Session 3: April 10, PowerForward DuPage, 9 am - 12:15 pm
*Students are responsible for communicating with teachers and completing work from missed classes.
Buses will transport students to and from school; lunch will be provided.
District 99 students who register by Monday, January 27, will be added to the Chamber630 Attainable Futures program. Students who complete the program and attend all three sessions will receive a certificate of completion from Chamber630.
