UPDATE 12:09 p.m.:
Although today is an e-Learning day, we know that the weather forecast shows a continued improvement throughout the day. As a result, extracurricular and athletics may be held as planned.
We made this decision to allow for competitions, events and practices to continue based on the fact that the weather is improving and our facilities are ready to accommodate after-school programs. Individual coaches and sponsors will communicate the status directly to you. NOTE: Student participation is entirely optional and students will not be penalized if they are unable to participate.
Please note that the status of holding certain events depends on what other school districts decide. Every district makes its own decision on whether or not to hold activity and athletic events during weather-related closures.
***
As a result of the ice and poor road conditions, we will have an e-Learning day today, January 23. Our school buildings and administrative offices will be closed. All after school-related activities will be decided later today.
We made this decision for the safety of our students, staff and their families. Read more about our process for making school closure decisions.
Students are expected to attend class remotely; see the e-Learning expectations.
