Sent to all D99 students/families that have opted out of in-person learning, August 11
Hello District 99 Students and Families,
You have selected to opt-out of in-person learning at District 99 and be “Remote Only” whenever we are following a hybrid schedule. Your selection will remain in place through October 16, 2020. (Please note: If you had a late request or recently changed your request, our distribution list may not reflect this most updated information. We will confirm your choice by end of the day this Friday, August 14.)
For the week of August 17, students who chose Remote Only must attend all class periods marked “Remote Learning,” regardless of their assigned group (A or B). This will allow the teachers to record their attendance for that day since they are not reporting in person. The teacher will determine whether or not students will remain in class for the entire remote sessions. For class periods marked “In-Person Learning,” students do not attend and there are no remote sessions offered. They will need to complete the virtual learning modules as well. These will be sent to 10th, 11th and 12th grade students this week and to 9th grade students on Monday.

We are still working through how to distribute classroom materials, including workbooks, novels and other materials. We will let you know as soon as we can once we have determined a plan. However, families are welcome to pick up PPE (see North High info here and South High info here).
Thank you,
District 99
