Pick Up PPE and Self-Certification Slips on 8/13 or 8/14
We are excited to welcome students to school the week of August 17. We are finalizing student schedules and will make them available via Home Access Center no later than August 13.
As a reminder, our 9th grade students will attend school in person on Monday, 8/17 and will follow this schedule. Students with the last name A-L will attend in the morning, and students with the last name M-Z will attend in the afternoon. Tuesday-Friday they will participate in virtual orientation activities in the morning and will attend the remote sections of their classes in the afternoon. Please note that 9th graders will attend each of their classes in the afternoon, regardless of which Group is assigned to meet that day. This allows our teachers an additional opportunity to interact with the 9th graders and for us to take attendance. Additional information regarding this week will be shared soon. Also, please see the information at the end of this letter that is specific to 9th grade student and parent orientations on Monday 8/10 and Tuesday 8/11.
Our 10th-12th grade students will attend school in person Tuesday-Friday (8/18-8/21) and will follow this schedule. Remote learning activities for Monday will be shared by August 13.
It is important to note that students who have opted for Remote Learning Only should not attend school the week of 8/17 in person. They should, however, complete all orientation activities and attend all remote learning class sessions. Additional information will be shared with these students next week.
All of our students are required to wear Personal Protective Equipment while on campus. Please see the schedule below for picking up equipment this Thursday and Friday. Students are allowed to wear their own masks provided they are multi-layered, do not have valves or vents, and are school-appropriate.
While we know that the 2020-21 school year will not be a typical year, we are committed to making it the best possible experience for everyone. We look forward to partnering with our students and families to make that goal a reality.

PPE and Self Certification Pick-up Schedule
Below are the dates for you to pick up Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and self-certification slips at North High School. This will be a drive-through or walk-through event; whichever is more convenient for you. Please be sure to have the student(s) first and last names clearly written on a piece of paper to hand to the attendant. For cars, please enter the Main Street parking lot from the North (Sherman Street) and follow the direction of our security team. Each student will get two face masks, two face shields, and a booklet of self-certification slips. You will then exit on the South side of the parking lot (Grant Street). For walkers, please go straight to the tent located in the South side of the parking lot across from Gloria Dei Church. For your own protection and for the protection of others, please wear face masks when you arrive.

North Star leaders are preparing a special Virtual Orientation for 9th graders and transfer students that will be held on Tuesday, August 11 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. A separate email with the schedule, activities, and link to join will be sent on Monday.
