The Board of Education held a special meeting last night to continue its discussion of the district's proposed plan to open the 2020-21 school year following a hybrid model.
Although a formal vote was not taken, the majority of the Board (4-3) indicated it is in favor of keeping students in a Remote Learning environment for the start of the school year.
The Board will meet in person on Monday, August 3 at South High, where it may vote on how District 99 will open the school year. The cafetorium can accommodate a maximum of 40 visitors at one time due to social distancing. The public may reach the Board via email at BoardMembers@csd99.org.
If community members wish to make their comments as part of the public record, they may add their comment to this form, which opens at 8 a.m. on Monday, July 27 and closes at the end of the meeting.
Thank you,
District 99
