On Monday, Feb. 12, District 99 hosted area support services providers to meet with district representatives at South High. Superintendent Dr. Hank Thiele welcomed the providers and staff members, followed by a light breakfast and a networking hour.
This community provider fair provided school counselors, principals, deans, social workers, and psychologists the opportunity to meet with area supportive services, treatment providers, and programs. Organizations and District staff were able to share current information about available community services, build relationships, and determine collaboration opportunities.
“Providing our students and our community with the support that they need is invaluable,” said Vince Walsh-Rock, assistant principal for Student Support Services at South High. “We’re proud to bring together these outstanding organizations to network and build relationships with our district and feeder schools.”
