District 99 has finalized its spring testing schedule that will take place in April.
Tuesday, April 19 will be a testing day for juniors and for students enrolled in any level of English 1.
For all other students (primarily sophomores and seniors) who will not be tested, April 19 will be a non-attendance day and they are not to report to school.
On April 19, for those students being tested, the school day will begin at 8 a.m. and end early, at approximately 12:30 p.m. On this day:
• Juniors will take the district-sponsored ACT exam. The exam is an official college-reportable ACT, including Writing.
• Students who are enrolled in any level of English 1 (primarily freshmen) will take the required PARCC (Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers) assessment.
PARCC Math Testing - April 14
In addition, on Thursday, April 14, students enrolled in any level of Math 1 will take the required Math PARCC assessment during regular school hours. Students will receive specific testing assignment information from their Math teacher approximately one week before testing. PARCC assessments are standardized tests that are required by the state. We appreciate your support and understanding the importance of this testing and how it will be used to measure the quality and effectiveness of District 99.
