The District 99 Board of Education has hired an outside search firm, School Exec Connect, to assist in the nationwide search for the district's next superintendent of schools. Dr. Mark McDonald, current District 99 superintendent, will retire in June 2016.
The Board hosted a Community Forum to collect input about what qualities community members would like to see in the next superintendent of schools; a survey was also open for the community to provide input. Please view the report (PDF) here of the new superintendent profile.
