North High celebrates its “Under the Big Top” circus-themed Homecoming beginning Monday, September 24 through Saturday, September 29. Below is a detailed list of school-wide events throughout the week. Students: Be sure to get your tickets for the Homecoming Variety Show and Homecoming Dance today!

Monday, September 24
- Staff and Student Spirit Day Theme: “Step Right Up” in your Jerseys (Sports Apparel)
- Homecoming Olympics at 6:30 p.m.
- Location: Fieldhouse
Tuesday, September 25
- Staff and Student Spirit Day Theme: Tired from "Tumbling" Tuesday (PJs/ Robes/Snuggies)
- Homecoming Ice Cream Social at 5:30 p.m.
- Every Day’s a Sundae, 990 Warren Drive, Downers Grove
- Students: Bring a canned good in order to receive a free scoop of ice cream!
Wednesday, September 26
- Staff and Student Spirit Day Theme: Wacky Wednesday (Mismatching, Stripes, and Polka Dots)
- Homecoming Variety Show at 7 p.m.
- Location: Auditorium
- Tickets: $5 entry (fundraiser)
Thursday, September 27
- Staff and Student Spirit Day Theme: Get Ready to “Practice” for the Circus (Workout Clothes/Athleisure)
Friday, September 28
- Staff and Student Spirit Day Theme: Trojan Pride Class Colors (freshmen: gray; sophomores: white; juniors: purple; seniors: black)
- Homecoming Assembly at 2 p.m.
- Location: Purple Gym
- 2018 Alumni Award of Excellence recognition
- Homecoming Parade at 3:15 p.m.
- NEW Route: Begins at the corner of Prince Street and Grant: South on Prince to Chicago Ave, West on Chicago Avenue to Linscott Ave, North on Linscott to Grant, ending at Grant and Saratoga. Click here to view map.
- Homecoming Football Game vs. Oak Park at 7:30 p.m.
- Location: DGN Stadium
- Sophomore game at 5 p.m.
Saturday, September 29
- Homecoming Dance at 7-10 p.m.
- Location: Purple Gym
- Tickets: $25 if purchased in advance, $30 if purchased at the door
- Guest forms: High School Student or Non High School Student - deadline to submit a guest form to the Student Activities Office is Wednesday, September 26.
