It is estimated that each WEEK, sudden cardiac death claims the lives of more than 30 young adults in the United States. The leading cause of sudden cardiac death in young adults is triggered by a hidden heart defect. A quick, noninvasive test that can signal the presence of a serious, but treatable, heart condition is called an ECG (electrocardiogram).
The Young Hearts for Life (YH4L) program is coming to District 99 to provide FREE cardiac screenings.

We need volunteers!
Cardiologists and trained personnel will run the program—but they depend on volunteers to make this opportunity available to all of our students.
Morning and afternoon shifts are available at both Downers Grove North High (February 18) and Downers Grove South High (February 19):
