Downers Grove North High School recognizes the students who earned 50 placements in the 2016 Illinois Music Education Association band, choir, jazz band and orchestra.
Auditions were held on Tuesday, October 11 at Carl Sandburg High School. The top placing scores were selected for participation in the District Music Festivals, to be held during the month of November. These students have been selected through a highly competitive audition to participate in the 2016 ILMEA District Festivals.
“Selection to the ILMEA All-District ensembles is a distinct and significant honor for a high school musician,” says North High Fine Arts Chairman Brayer Teague. “Our District 99 music faculty is excited for these Mustang and Trojan musicians who will now have the opportunity to collaborate with the most outstanding musicians in our region.”
