Downers Grove North Theatre brings, “Hamlet re-imagined” to stage on Thursday, April 28 and Friday, April 29 at 7 p.m., and on Saturday, April 30 at 5 p.m. in the Studio Theatre. Tickets are $5 and may be purchased in the Student Activities Office or by calling 630-795-8413. Seating is very limited.
Do you ever wonder about the future? What will the world be like 50 years from now? How will technology change the way we live, think, and dream? Who will rule and how will they keep us from chaos? And what could Shakespeare possibly say about the subject?!? “HAMLET re-imagined" addresses these questions and more. This adaptation is an experiment in time, space, and gender as we travel to the cyberpunk Denmark of the future.
