Master Facility Plan

We are grateful to the community members, parents, students, staff and faculty for supporting our effort to build a better future for our students through the Master Facility Plan. Thank you!

On March 20, 2018, the District 99 Community voted to support the Master Facility Plan (MFP), and work began in May 2019. Construction included three phases - Phase A, Phase B, Phase C - and were completed in the fall of 2021. Click here to see master timeline. Designs for both schools included secured vestibules and new additions to house science, fine arts and culinary classes. In addition, both schools now have large Learning Commons areas featuring abundant natural light and seating.

Dedications and community open houses were held in September 2021 to celebrate the completion of the MFP:

Before construction at either school began, a baseline existing noice level was established. At final study made at the completion of construction showed that there is no significant increase in amient sound created by the new building equipment at either site when compared against previous measurements.
